Concrete Quality
Our concrete is produced in quality-controlled plants using state-of-the-art mixing equipment. Moisture sensors in the mixer and calibrated scales for sand, gravel, and cement ensure consistently high concrete quality.
Not all concrete is created equal. The composition and compaction of the concrete are crucial.
Only the best aggregates are used in the production of our concrete. Our gravel and sand come from separate stockpiles that contain as few organic components as possible. The sand is double-washed, and the sand grains have a particularly rough surface, thus providing optimal adhesion for the cement paste.
Furthermore, we exclusively use CEM I cements with compressive strengths of 42.5 kN, and in some cases even 52.5 kN. The main component is Portland cement clinker (at least 95%!) and is limited to materials of natural origin. These products contain no unnecessary fillers such as fly ash or blast furnace slag, which would compromise quality and are often used to extend the cement in cheaper products. The high cement grades are essential for achieving the highest possible initial and final strengths and are the foundation for a durable product.
Even the water used is tested for compatibility with the aggregates!
We do not use any chemical additives such as plasticizers in our slatted floors; our natural concrete mix is sufficient for our high-strength products!
